Min, Mark & Joe are Last Week’s Winners

There are still spaces available for this Saturday’s 9 hole stableford which is open to ladies and gents. Everyone will play from the red tees and it’s over the back nine. Please sign up on Club V1.

Medal 1

Well played Mark Haywood for shooting a nett 68 to win Medal 1 this weekend. I hope Mark doesn’t mind me trying to grab some reflected glory by telling you that he’s had a few lessons of late which hopefully have been instrumental in his win! Ade Kershaw was second with nett 69 and Matthew Hodder was third with a one over par nett 71, illustrating just how tricky the course was playing.

This takes place a week on Friday (10th May). We have one spot remaining. Don’t miss the opportunity to try some of the latest and greatest Ping golf equipment, free of charge.

Granny Cup

Congratulations to Min Fishwick for winning last Thursday’s Granny Cup with 27 points. The Granny Cup was donated by last year’s winner, Vicky Chamberlain. Unfortunately Vicky was unable to make tea to present the trophy.

Diana Harris won the 18 hole stableford with 26 points and Amanda Greaves won the front nine stableford with 19 points.

Group Coaching

We have some space in Monday’s group coaching session on driving. All of these sessions are open to men and ladies. There is also some space in the bunker session on the 20th May and we have put on an extra chipping/piching lesson (same time 2-3pm) on Mon 3rd June.

Please contact me to reserve your spot.

Juniors

Joe Booth won the junior nine hole stableford on Saturday with 19 points. Look out for the next comp date which we’ll let you know about shortly.

The junior caching on Saturdays continues on Saturdays at 1345. If you’d like to attend, the first thing you need to do is let me know so that I can add you to the WhatsApp group. Then when you want to attend a session, simply reply to the message I send out the day before or the morning of the coaching with a thumbs up.

Embedded Ball

Here’s a reminder about the rules regarding an embedded ball. Remember this applies year round and on the fairway and in the rough (aka the general area)
