We have both the President’s Prize mixed foursomes competition on Saturday and the final Adult Junior event of the season on Friday to look forward to this week. And I’m sure the rains of Monday night and Tuesday will have been welcome by the greenstaff.

Congratulations to ex captain Cliff Wright for shooting an excellent nett 63 to win Saturday’s final medal of the summer campaign. Freddie Gillan also did a great score but finished just one shot back. Andrew Fish wick was third with a nett 65.

Well done to Pauline Keeling beating for scoring 20 points last Thursday to defeat Jane Wilkinson on a card play off and win the 9 hole competition.
